Chilling out with my daughter Asha (she's plotting her escape!)

and my mother (also Asha, but at least she's not escaping)

Tying the knot (literally!). The pallu of Immy's saree is tied to my pancha.
Pictures of Santiago and Chile
Some pictures of the winter in Santiago, in the winter of 2019 and the 2020 shutdown, taken from around my house, Cerro Calan, and some friends houses. This includes the background of this website, facing the east during early sunrise from Cerro Calan in the winter.

Some of spots visited in Chile (covering Chiloe, Bio-Bio, Los Lagos, Coyahique, Araucania, Los Rios, and Atacama). Chile has to be one of the most naturally beautiful countries in the world. One thing I miss whenever I leave Chile are the mountains. But also intertwined in this is the melancholic history of many of this regions, particularly the strife in Araucania, or the incredible architecture built from the exile of Chiloe, and the courage of rebuilding Valdivia after natural disasters.
